Ich plane ein eigenes Album. In Eigenregie. Zuhause. Mit Liedern aus meinem Leben, aus meinem Innersten.

Songs über das Zerbrechen – und das Weitergehen. Über den Glauben an sich selbst. Über das Durchschauen von Illusionen, wenn sich der Nebel lichtet und die Dinge plötzlich klar daliegen. Über das Anders-Denken und das ehrliche Fühlen.

Ich möchte mit meiner Musik berühren und Herzen erreichen. Und vor allem: mich selbst noch tiefer dieser Gabe hingeben. Mich öffnen. Mich einlassen, wie man sich ins Meer gleiten lässt und dem Wasser vertraut, dass es trägt.

Die Idee zu diesem Album ist ein Same. Ein Same, der wachsen darf. Kein schnell gezogener Baum, der morgen schon Früchte trägt, sondern ein lebendiger Prozess. Wie in der Natur: Ein grosser Baum braucht Zeit. Er wächst durch Sommer und Winter, durch Stürme und Brüche, durch Standhaftigkeit. Seine Jahresringe erzählen davon. Und er steht – mitten im Wandel.

So auch mein Weg.

Jeder Song entsteht zuerst in einer rohen, ehrlichen Fassung: ursprünglich und reduziert, aber technisch so sauber, wie es die Idee verlangt. Keine Billigproduktion, sondern bewusst ungeschliffen. Echt. Nah. Wie eine Stimme am Lagerfeuer, wenn alle still werden und zuhören.

Wenn alle Lieder aufgenommen sind, folgt der zweite Schritt: das Eintauchen in die klangliche Tiefe. Arrangements, Zweitstimmen, Instrumente. Schicht um Schicht, wie Wellen, die sich übereinanderlegen. Geleitet vom Moment, geführt von der Musik selbst.

So gehe ich diesen Weg, Schritt für Schritt. Ein Weg, den ich seit meiner Kindheit in mir spüre – seit jenem Tag auf dem Gargi, als der Motor zu singen begann –, den ich aber lange nicht zu gehen wagte. Vielleicht war das genau richtig so. Vielleicht hat mich alles Bisherige genau hierhin geführt.

Denn auch die Wahrheit kommt in Wellen. Sie zieht sich zurück, sie kehrt wieder, jedes Mal ein Stück weiter ans Ufer. Wie Ebbe und Flut, die keiner zwingen kann und die doch immer wiederkommen.

Das ist die Vision hinter Truth Tides: ein Album, das von Wahrhaftigkeit erzählt. Von inneren Bewegungen. Von der Kraft, sich selbst zu begegnen – Welle für Welle.

Ein Lied für das Wiedererkennen, das gemeinsame Erinnern – über Hautfarben, Grenzen und Geschichten hinweg.

Dieser Song wird Teil meines geplanten Albums «Truth Tides», einer Sammlung von Liedern über Wandlung, Wahrheit und Verbundenheit. Musik, die berühren will – nicht überreden.

«Darkness» ist ein Song für jene Momente, in denen wir nichts sehen – und trotzdem weitergehen. Für die Nächte, in denen keine Antworten kommen. Für die Stille, in der etwas Neues entstehen darf.

Vielleicht ist Dunkelheit nicht die Abwesenheit von Licht. Vielleicht ist sie der Raum, in dem Licht geboren wird.

Dieser Song erinnert daran, dass Wachstum oft im Verborgenen geschieht – wie ein Same unter der Erde oder wie Sterne, die erst in der Nacht sichtbar werden.
