Olas de verdad

Estoy planeando un álbum propio. Autoproducido. En casa. Con canciones de mi vida, de lo más íntimo de mí.

Canciones sobre romperse – y seguir adelante. Sobre creer en uno mismo. Sobre ver a través de las ilusiones, cuando la niebla se disipa y las cosas de repente aparecen con claridad. Sobre pensar de otra manera y sentir con sinceridad.

Con mi música quiero conmover y llegar a los corazones. Y sobre todo: entregarme aún más profundamente a este don. Abrirme. Dejarme llevar, como uno se deja deslizar en el mar y confía en que el agua lo sostenga.

La idea de este álbum es una semilla. Una semilla que puede crecer. No un árbol criado deprisa que mañana ya da frutos, sino un proceso vivo. Como en la naturaleza: un gran árbol necesita tiempo. Crece a través de veranos e inviernos, de tormentas y rupturas, de la firmeza. Sus anillos lo cuentan. Y se mantiene en pie – en medio del cambio.

Así es también mi camino.

Cada canción nace primero en una versión cruda y sincera: original y reducida, pero técnicamente tan limpia como la idea exige. No una producción barata, sino conscientemente sin pulir. Auténtica. Cercana. Como una voz junto a la hoguera, cuando todos callan y escuchan.

Cuando todas las canciones estén grabadas, llegará el segundo paso: sumergirse en la profundidad del sonido. Arreglos, segundas voces, instrumentos. Capa a capa, como olas que se superponen. Guiado por el momento, conducido por la propia música.

Así recorro este camino, paso a paso. Un camino que siento en mí desde la infancia – desde aquel día en el Gargi, cuando el motor empezó a cantar –, pero que durante mucho tiempo no me atreví a recorrer. Quizá fue justo así como tenía que ser. Quizá todo lo anterior me ha traído exactamente hasta aquí.

Porque también la verdad llega en olas. Se retira, vuelve, cada vez un poco más lejos en la orilla. Como la bajamar y la pleamar, que nadie puede forzar y que siempre regresan.

Esa es la visión detrás de Truth Tides: un álbum que habla de autenticidad. De movimientos interiores. De la fuerza de encontrarse con uno mismo – ola a ola.

«Light in the Cracks» es una canción para todos los que han pasado por rupturas – interiores o exteriores. Para quienes saben que la belleza no está en la perfección, sino en abrirse. Que la luz a menudo entra por donde antes estábamos cerrados.

Una canción sobre la sacralidad de la vida – en lo sencillo, en lo cotidiano, en el ahora.

«This Life Is Sacred» es una canción para quienes ya no necesitan buscar el milagro – porque lo encuentran en el viento, en la tierra, en su propia respiración. Para todos los que van descalzos por la vida, con los sentidos abiertos y el corazón abierto. Para todos los que sienten: lo sagrado no está lejos – está aquí.

Quizá la oscuridad no sea la ausencia de luz. Quizá sea el espacio en el que nace la luz.
