Waves of truth

I am planning an album of my own. Self-produced. At home. With songs from my life, from my innermost being.

Songs about breaking – and moving on. About believing in yourself. About seeing through illusions, when the fog lifts and things suddenly lie there clearly. About thinking differently and feeling honestly.

With my music I want to touch and reach hearts. And above all: to give myself even more deeply to this gift. To open up. To let go, the way you let yourself slip into the sea and trust the water to carry you.

The idea for this album is a seed. A seed that may grow. Not a quickly raised tree that bears fruit tomorrow, but a living process. As in nature: a great tree needs time. It grows through summer and winter, through storms and breaks, through steadfastness. Its growth rings tell of it. And it stands – in the midst of change.

So it is with my path.

Every song first comes into being in a raw, honest version: original and pared down, but technically as clean as the idea demands. Not a cheap production, but deliberately unpolished. Genuine. Close. Like a voice at the campfire, when everyone falls silent and listens.

When all the songs are recorded, the second step follows: diving into the depth of sound. Arrangements, harmony vocals, instruments. Layer upon layer, like waves rolling over one another. Guided by the moment, led by the music itself.

This is how I walk this path, step by step. A path I have felt within me since childhood – since that day on the Gargi when the engine began to sing – but which for a long time I didn't dare to walk. Perhaps that was exactly right. Perhaps everything so far has led me exactly here.

For truth, too, comes in waves. It withdraws, it returns, each time a little further up the shore. Like ebb and flow, which no one can force and which always come back.

That is the vision behind Truth Tides: an album that tells of truthfulness. Of inner movements. Of the power to meet oneself – wave by wave.

A song about the light that shines through our wounds.

«Light in the Cracks» is a song for everyone who has gone through breaks – inner or outer. For those who know that beauty does not lie in perfection, but in opening up. That light often falls in where we were once closed.

«Now» is a song for everyone who has had enough of racing, comparing and losing themselves in yesterday or tomorrow. For those who feel life in their breath – not on the clock. For those who know: what really matters is happening right now.

A song about the sacredness of life – in the simple, in the everyday, in the now.

«This Life Is Sacred» is a song for those who no longer have to search for the miracle – because they find it in the wind, in the ground, in their own breath. For all who walk barefoot through life, with open senses and an open heart. For all who sense: the sacred is not far away – it is here.

«Tribe of One» is a song for the human family. For all who long for a togetherness that is genuine. For those who sense: we are different, yes – but deep down we are one. A song for recognising each other, for remembering together – across skin colours, borders and histories.

This song will be part of my planned album «Truth Tides», a collection of songs about transformation, truth and connection. Music that wants to touch – not persuade.

«Darkness» is a song for those moments when we see nothing – and keep going anyway. For the nights when no answers come. For the stillness in which something new may arise.

Perhaps darkness is not the absence of light. Perhaps it is the space in which light is born.

This song is a reminder that growth often happens in hidden places – like a seed beneath the earth or like stars that only become visible at night.
