Special Moments

small glimpses into my life

A little heart concert

A small but fine little concert at a family celebration – together with my dear sister on vocals.

No big hall, no spotlights. Just a few familiar faces, the soft clinking of glasses and that special moment when conversations fall silent and everyone listens.

We cover «If You Need Me» by Julia Michaels, a song that touches us both deeply. It tells of being there for someone even when you're not standing next to them. And that's exactly how it felt: two voices that find each other, carry each other and flow into one another like two streams becoming the same river.

For us it was a moment of closeness, of togetherness and of joy in simply being. A gift that didn't have to be perfect to be complete.

Perhaps it will touch you too.

Surfin' the Field

That's what I call this video series, which will probably keep growing over time. The idea behind it is quite simple: I capture my thoughts and inspirations before they fly away again like butterflies. So that I don't forget them. :-)

For sometimes an idea comes like a wave out of nowhere. It lifts me up, carries me a little way – and if I don't jump on, it's gone. This series is my surfboard.

It is anything but perfect, perhaps even rather quirky. But that's exactly the point: I want to encourage the courage to be imperfect. We live in a time when a shiny perfection is held up to us from everywhere. One that we can never really live. Sooner or later we break under it. At least that's how I experienced it – more than once.

This kind of perfection doesn't correspond to our true nature. Artificial intelligence will soon master it better than we do. But what really makes us human is something else: our creativity. Our intuition. Our connection to the creative field, that invisible ocean from which new ideas surface like waves from the deep. This power is deeply human. Ensouled. And it cannot be copied.

Perhaps this series helps to allow a little more humanity. Perhaps it inspires you to accept yourself again, just as you are. Not perfect. But genuine. And alive.

And who knows – perhaps it is precisely through this honest acceptance that this series will become clearer and more mature over time. Not because I want to present something I'm not. But because I simply do it. From within. Wave by wave. Trusting that this is enough.

We fall off the board, we laugh, we paddle back out. That's how you learn to surf. And that's how you learn to live.
