The raven is one of the cleverest beings of all. It remembers, plans ahead, plays and speaks with many voices. Its black plumage shimmers in all colours in the light. For many peoples it is creator and trickster at the same time – the light-bringer who brings the hidden into the light. Where it appears, transformation is not far away.
