Elephant
The keeper of ancient memory
Nature of the elephant
The elephant is the largest land animal on earth – and one of the gentlest. It does not forget: the ways to waterholes, faces, places of the ancestors. Herds return to the places of their dead and linger there in silence. It stands for wisdom, togetherness and a strength that shows itself in care.
Inner attitude
The elephant moves deliberately. It is considerate, watches over the smallest of its herd and does not give way when it matters. Its attitude is loving steadfastness.
