Sanango
The keeper of the awakened senses
Nature of the plant
Sanango is a shrub of the Amazon rainforest, often also called Uchu Sanango. Its white flowers twist like little pinwheels, its leaves are long and glossy. In Amazonian plant medicine it is regarded as a great teacher that sharpens the senses and strengthens memory. It stands for wakefulness: looking closely, listening closely.
Inner attitude
Sanango is attentive and clear. It perceives without being distracted. Its wakefulness is calm, not restless.
