Unicorn

The keeper of purity

Nature of the unicorn

The unicorn resembles a white horse; a single twisted horn grows from its forehead. Greek writers of antiquity already told of it, and in the Middle Ages it became the image of the untouchable. It cannot be caught. Only those pure of heart may approach it. Its horn, so it is said, makes poisoned water clear again.

Inner attitude

The unicorn stays true to itself. It cannot be tamed or bought. Its gentleness is not weakness – it rests in a clarity that takes on nothing foreign.

The essential qualities

  • pure
  • free
  • gentle
  • incorruptible
  • healing

It shows itself only to those who want nothing from it.

Meaning

The unicorn appears when your inner world has grown cloudy – through mistrust, cynicism or the expectations of others. It invites you to find your way back to your original innocence. Not naive, but clear: the way you were before you learned to pretend.

Voice of the being

«Stay clear. What is pure in you, no one can destroy.»

Encounter & working together

You meet the unicorn in old fairy tales, in images at the forest edge at dawn, in the stillness before falling asleep. Imagine a spring where it drinks. What in you would like to become clear again?

Pay attention to

  • where you bend yourself to please others
  • where mistrust has hardened your heart
  • where a quiet, pure longing lives in you

The unicorn works when you are ready to be true to yourself.

Essence

I keep what is pure in me and stay true to myself.
